I refuse to take my child to a pediatrician who deflects the issue instead of trying g to find out if it’s something else more serious. I just thought they would do something for this because these symptoms are scary. It’s sad how much the patient is just a number. So here I am trying to find help for my child. I have never had such a horrible experience with a pediatrician ever. They refuse to help me just pushing it back on GI. So being fed up with let’s let the miralax work, I messaged the doctor and was told I can seek a second opinion. I don’t want to out my child through unnecessary testing but I’m also terrified she doesn’t seem hungry and is not having good weight gain despite my diligence in making sure she eats someti g every 2 hours. I have done extensive research and ovaries can cause these same symptoms. The doctor says there is no need for follow up blood work even though an ultrasound tech said ovaries look larger. Oh my god! I was so upset that I thought switching to another one would yield better results and NO. When I originally brought her in the doctor said I don’t know why her stomach hurts. I am not kidding when I say that everything that has been done all the way down to requesting a GI to blood tests to an infrasound was all because I demanded it. For the past 8 months my child has experienced constipation with frequent urination and now weight loss with loss of appetite. I’ve reviewed this place before and I gave it another chance but am coming out disappointed again. Hopefully once she gets more than 3 years out of medical school, she will learn to have bedside manner and respect for doctors who have spent the time to specialize in their field. I understand that everyone has the right to there own opinion, but there is a level of professionalism that must be maintained. He was also one of the few doctors who has been able to get my daughters seizures under control after she suffered a TBI in a car accident. A doctor who is top ranked across the nation, is a Duke University medical school professor, and has written several books on pediatric neurology and medical school. Dr.Jurak said no and then criticized the treatment that was started by her neurologist at Duke University. I even asked if she would sign one that would get my daughter through the first 30 days of school while I scheduled another neurology appointment for her to get one signed. She refused to sign my daughters seizure action plan for school even though they were the same exact ones she has had on file for 7 years. From the moment she walked in the room I felt like I was being patronized. She is rude, condescending, and arrogant. The new doctor they gave us was Dr.Jurak.

At that time I thought, That is so professional and mature of them to do that. When she left to open Kinder Haus Pediatrics in Schertz, they moved my daughter to another doctor and said that once Dr.Garcias practice opened they would give me the information. She was amazing, professional, and compassionate. Two years ago, my daughter started coming here and seeing Dr. If I could give a no star rating I would.
